About Us

Since 1986, Denise Maurer, owner of Denise Maurer Interiors, has been creating “wow” looks in the Capital District as a full-service design firm. She has built her reputation by matching a flair for color and design, while meeting clients’ needs in creating their own special environment. Specializing in residential design, Denise’s work can be found in fine homes across the region. While her full-service business begins with overall design services of color, space, and priority planning, she also offers her clients unrivaled creativity in custom window fashions, bedding, upholstery and accessories. She sees the project through to completion using the services of talented artisans and installers.

Denise received her training with an Atlanta, GA company and later served as one of their Directors. She continues to update her knowledge through workshops, product seminars and trade conferences.

In 2000, she was recognized by Window Fashions Magazine, with a First Place Award for Specialty Window Treatments. Denise also was recognized by Girls Inc. with an award for her entrepreneurial success.
